TERMS OF SERVICE

By using Flit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Flit lets you create expiring flit links for files, URLs, and messages. Flits expire automatically based on the rules you set — by time, view count, or both. No account is required to create or view a flit. We provide the service on an as-is basis and make no guarantees of uptime or availability.

Flit enforces expiry rules on our servers — once a flit expires or reaches its view limit, the content is deleted and the link stops working. However, we cannot prevent or detect:

• —Screenshots or screen recordings taken while a flit is open.
• —Downloads or copies saved by the recipient before expiry.
• —The original link being forwarded to someone else while it is still active.

We do take steps within our control to discourage copying — such as restricting right-click and download controls on images and videos in the flit viewer. These measures reduce casual copying but cannot prevent determined workarounds. Flit is designed to limit unintended distribution, not to guarantee it. Do not flit content through Flit if the consequences of it being copied or reshared would be unacceptable to you.

You may not use Flit to flit content that:

• —Is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the recipient.
• —Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such content will be reported to the relevant authorities.
• —Constitutes harassment, threats, or targeted abuse.
• —Is designed to deceive, phish, or defraud others.
• —Distributes malware, ransomware, or malicious code.
• —Violates the intellectual property rights of others.
• —Constitutes spam or unsolicited bulk messaging.

We reserve the right to remove any flit and terminate any account that violates these terms, without notice. Users may report content they believe violates these terms using the report function available on every flit page.

You retain ownership of the content you flit. By uploading or flitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and serve that content solely for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when the flit expires or is revoked.

Creating an account is optional. If you do, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your account data and revoke all active flits associated with it.

• —The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• —We are not liable for any content shared by users.
• —To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
• —Our total liability for any direct claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Flit and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the service, the content you flit, or your violation of these terms. This applies whether the flit was created with or without an account.

If you believe content flitted via Flit infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us at [email protected] with the following information:

• —A description of the work you claim has been infringed.
• —The URL of the flit in question.
• —Your contact information.
• —A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder.

We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly upon receiving a valid notice.

We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party infrastructure providers, internet or network failures, natural disasters, or government actions. In such events we will make reasonable efforts to restore the service as quickly as possible.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the service will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of the Philippines.
